Q. Why do I need a coach?

It does not matter if you want to reduce body fat, build lean muscle, or simply want to live a healthier life. A professional personal training program created specifically with you and your needs in mind will take you as far as you want to go and ensure that you achieve the goals you have set yourself.


Q. How is my plan tailored to me?

Each plan is tailored using many variables taken from your questionnaire, goal, timescales and your feedback. Your eating plan will be specifically tailored to you in terms of the macronutrients and calories, to ensure you make real progress and achieve great results. Similarly, with your training program, we will understand your goals, and use scientifically proven techniques to ensure you accomplish them.


Q. Can I train from home and if so, what do I need?

Yes, you can train from home if you are unable to visit Cumbria for physique coaching. All you will need is a little space to manoeuvre around and also some adjustable dumbbells/resistance bands as your plan will contain weighted work. Rest assured, that all of the workouts can also be completed in the gym as well. We can discuss this in detail during your initial consultation as you may need some high resistance days too, depending on the goals you have set.


Q. I have a food allergy/intolerance can I still do the plan?

Absolutely! We can work around this as each eating plan is individually tailored. If there is an ingredient that you are allergic or intolerant to then this can simply be swapped with a substitute.


Q. My partner and I want to do the plan, can we have the same meals as each other and do you offer a couple’s discount?

The most important thing to understand about the plans is that the calories and macronutrients are tailored to the individual and this is how my clients get such amazing results. The plan is set up to your own personal needs to ensure you fuel yourself with the ideal level of calories and the right split of fats, proteins and carbohydrates for your body's needs. However, I can place you on the same 'type' of foods. This works in the same way with your training plan. Therefore, I can offer a discount. Please get in touch for more information.


Q. How do I get started?

If you’re thinking about body transformation and physique coaching in Cumbria or online with Physique Locker, please use my client application form and I will get back to you within 24 hours. This will be a free initial consultation where I can find out more about your personal fitness goals, how these can be achieved and answer any questions you may have.


Q. When can I expect to see results?

Generally speaking, you may be able to see results at the earliest around 8 to 12 weeks, however this is dependent on the goals you have. During your initial consultation we can discuss your goals and when you can expect to see a difference in your body.


Q. Can I train with an injury?

If you have an underlying condition or injury you will need to fill in a PAR Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) which will help me identify which exercises are safe for you to complete.
